Our hugely popular rainbow carton contains 1-dozen delicious, non-GMO, rare breed heritage chicken eggs. Each of our signature octagonal cartons contains a beautiful variety of colored eggs from our small flock of happy, pasture raised hens in Red Hook, NY. Beyond humane, these eggs are a purchase to feel really good about.

Our egg yolk color varies slightly from vibrant yellow to rich amber - depending on what kind of insects, clover, etc. our hens have foraged and consumed on any particular day. Our flock eats a high quality organic non-GMO chicken feed. Our eggs are unwashed, and never more than a week old when they're shipped out.

Small batch, ethical, completely fresh, flavorful, nutritious, natures artwork.

Pasture Raised

When we say pasture raised it means that our chickens have day long access to grass pasture and woodland. Chickens are omnivores and love to forage for insects, newts, snakes, and frogs - as well as fresh grass and clover of course.

Not only does this kind of freedom produce healthier, more nutritious eggs... but it also makes the chickens happy! They're very intelligent and busy animals, they hate to be bored. Foraging the land each day is naturally stimulating, interesting, and exciting for them.
